It truly has been a wonderful, adventure filled year for the Kansas Sawayas! We started the year out as Arizona Sawayas. As of May, we were officially Kansas residents. We have loved our time here. We hit the ground running, determined to make the most of this adventure.
Ben enjoys work in Olathe as a finance director for Honeywell.
Sara enjoys each day and takes each day one at a time!
Scott enjoys school, soccer and two new passions; basketball and piano.
Kate enjoys everything pink and being a "mother" to ladybugs and toads alike.
Brett enjoys bouncing out of bed each morning, tackling the day, and dropping into bed each night, falling asleep within minutes.
We enjoy our life, take joy in the journey and look forward to another adventure filled year! Here we come 2009!!

sara- i got teary eyed just looking at your blog remembering how wonderful i think you are!!!! your house is beautiful!!! your next job is to take pictures of your whole house, front and back and post them on your blog! we would ALL love to see it. i was so glad you sent a christmas card, so i had your address, we sent you ours! i added your name to my blog list. i thought of you immediately when they announced a new temple in kansas. how close will you be? you guys are all beautiful and i am sure your ward is counting their blessings that YOU arrived!

Sara Sawaya -- we lost touch. I had no idea you moved to Kansas. So glad I stumbled across your blog. Your kids are so big. I can't believe Scott is in 2nd grade. What a cute family you have!! I am glad you love Kansas, do your parents visit much? They really have to travel a lot to see all of you it seems. You are all over the country!! Is debra still in the South? It is funny how quickly time passes. I wish you all the best.
